Description
Organised by H&M Group, Target, Decathlon
How can factory-level interventions generate real improvements for workers - and how can collaboration amplify impact?
This session explores Wage Management Systems, a factory training programme in garment and footwear supply chains designed to strengthen management practices to improve wages, increase transparency and, promote better working conditions. Drawing on external academic research analyzing eight years of data from over 1,800 factories and taking insights from a recent multi-brand pilot, we will assess what drives impact, where challenges remain, and how these insights can shape wider industry action. Participants will gain a practical understanding of the programme’s stucture, operating model and implementation experience and challenges, as well as new developments that enable adoption by other brands. The session will also explore pathways for scaling meaningful outcomes for workers through industry collaboration.
