Feb 9, 2026 | 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Description
Organised by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and GIZ
Many of the challenges of due diligence are reduced through increased interoperability of digital data. The United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP) provides a global, public-good framework for interoperable, secure access to traceability, sustainability and due diligence data through value chains. It opens up the end of duplicatory data requests, increased comparability, access and quality of data. The session will describe progress in UNTP's development for the garment and footwear sector and point to the opportunities to shape its deployment and use to advance responsible business conduct.
