Feb 9, 2026 | 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Description

Organised by Fair Wear, Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, Grüner Knopf This session will explore the remediation step of the human rights due diligence cycle, focusing on how harms in complex supply chains are identified and addressed. Through real case examples and insights from different stakeholders, such as brands, unions, litigators, grievance mechanism operators, and academics, the discussion will examine the effectiveness and limitations of different grievance and remediation pathways. We will explore the obstacles workers face in seeking redress and consider what meaningful, worker-centric remediation should look like. The session ultimately aims to clarify what effective remediation requires and where industry practices must improve to ensure workers receive the remedies they are owed.
