Kristina Elinder Liljas is Senior Director of Sustainable Finance and Engagement at Apparel Impact Institute, where she bridges climate finance, international development, and supply-chain transformation across Asia’s textile hubs. She leads efforts to unlock capital from philanthropies, brands, governments, MDBs and DFIs to accelerate supplier decarbonization through blended-finance structures, deployment grants and pooled guarantees, with a strong focus on South and Southeast Asia. A former diplomat and Trade Commissioner, she brings 15+ years of experience turning climate and development targets into investment-ready projects that can actually be financed and delivered.
