Description
Organised by CARE Impact Partners & Yayasan CARE Peduli (CARE Indonesia)
"For due diligence to be effective, Apparel brands need visibility of factory workplace issues and confidence in suppliers’ ability to manage challenges. CARE has partnered with supply chain actors across Southeast Asia to explore how improved worker-management collaboration can mitigate risks while driving social impact.
This session - designed for brand and supplier teams - will share practical insights from factory pilots in Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam through the lens of suppliers and vendors. It will unpack what drives effective collaboration and supplier ownership, with a deep dive into Bipartite Committees and Task Forces in Indonesia - showing how to move from tick-box compliance to meaningful dialogue.
The discussion will feature reflections from vendors and factory management in Indonesia, with commentary from CARE’s global supply chain advisory team."
