Description
Organised by Fair Labor Association and ISEAL
In this session, FLA and ISEAL will share recent insights and practical lessons on verifying wage data in supply chains, with a focus on accountability and credibility. After several years of data collection through FLA’s Fair Compensation Toolkit, the discussion will turn to the next critical steps: verification and the collection of gender-disaggregated wage data. ISEAL will share learnings from its recent project with IDH and others, offering best practices and guidance for companies to engage with verification providers. The session will also feature a discussion with brands, auditors and unions on verification and the importance of collecting and analyzing gender-disaggregated data, and how it can inform concrete actions to close wage gaps. Ultimately, the session aims to demonstrate why brand investment in wage data verification is essential, not only for credible reporting, but also for enabling wages that take gender dynamics into account.
