This session, hosted by The Industry We Want (TIWW) for the Retailer Roundtable (RRT), will explore the essential and often overlooked role of third-party retailers in implementing and upholding effective Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD).
Due diligence expectations and regulatory requirements continue to expand, yet the absence of a unified approach across stakeholders, particularly among third-party retailers, often results in fragmentation and duplicated efforts for both retailers and brands. This session will explore how the RRT is fostering a pre-competitive space for retailers and working closely with Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives to share and promote best practices. Together, these efforts aim to develop aligned solutions grounded in the OECD Due Diligence for Responsible Business Conduct framework.
