The EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform (https://transition-pathways.europa.eu/textiles-ecosystem) is a project commissioned by EISMEA and DG GROW, which forms part of the ‘Stakeholder Support Platforms’ currently developed by the European Commission for several industrial ecosystems.
This side session will provide an overview of the platform’s main functionalities, its mission, and the opportunities offered to the users, including upcoming events and other initiatives. One of the pledges to the textiles ecosystem transition pathway will be also presented during the session. In addition, we will describe the results of a recent workshop with focus on upskilling and reskilling in the garment and footwear sector, organised in collaboration with the EU Pact for Skills.
