This high-level dialogue explores the strategic transition of Latin America and the Caribbean from a primary provider of critical minerals like lithium and copper into a high-value industrial hub for the global energy transition. By bringing together government, industry, and civil society leaders, the session will examine the policy frameworks, international and regional cooperation, and the development of local human capital efforts needed to close the gaps in the critical mineral supply chain.
