Description
Lauren Shields sits in the Centre for Responsible Business Conduct at the OECD, where she leads work to strengthen sustainability initiatives as multipliers of risk-based due diligence. Prior to joining the OECD, she was a director at Ernst & Young in Paris building the firm’s sustainable supply chain practice in Europe and advising companies on human rights. Before that, Lauren was programmatic lead for BSR’s HERproject, a multi-sector collaborative initiative between global companies, SMEs, civil society, and governments to promote gender equality in supply chains. She has supply chain work experience in Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, and Vietnam. Lauren holds a Masters in Public Affairs from Sciences Po and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
