Description
Organised by WE Program, Fenix Outdoor International AG, Beirholms Væverier A/S
While businesses invest in complex complaint systems in high-risk supply chains, number of complaints often remain low and access to remedy is rather limited, most of the time not even possible. Workers, the most impacted stakeholders of the global supply chains are rarely heard and can rarely be involved in finding solutions to address abuses and violations they face. Workers need accessible channels on eye level that provide them with quick and robust rights-based solutions.
In this session, together with brand partners Fenix Outdoor, Beirholm, the WE Program aims to present case studies of WE's dialogue-based approach from Pakistan and VietNam, demonstrating the involvement and engagement of workers and factory managers in co-creation and improvement of operational level grievance structures.
