Description
Organised by The World Bank Group
Integrity and accountability enhance competitiveness, build trust, and support sustainable growth. The WBG advances business integrity through sanctions and rehabilitation efforts: it enforces consequences for misconduct and expects sanctioned entities to implement enhanced integrity compliance measures so they can return as partners under WBG projects operating under higher integrity standards.
In this session, speakers will examine how sanctions decisions, integrity compliance monitoring, and corporate commitment work together to drive sustainable behavioral change that translates into meaningful development impact through real-life case studies. Panelists will share practical insights on what makes enforcement effective, how organizations design robust integrity compliance programs, and how monitoring supports credible rehabilitation. The discussion will also encourage participants to take concrete steps to champion accountability in their workplaces and communities.
