Description
Simulated environments and immersive technologies provide users with hyper realistic experiences through the capture and processing of sensor information, and the use of tactile or haptic services. Immersive technologies include augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality and other forms of extended realities.
This workshop will explore use and business cases around simulated environments backed by immersive technologies including how they can help individual and corporate users enhance their capabilities, e.g. providing them with realistic, safe and exploratory learning environments. The session will also shed light on the concerns around immersive technologies and discuss the policy implications assessing risks and benefits.
