While digital technologies continue to evolve and transform our societies, efforts are underway to analyse and understand how policies and regulatory frameworks could adapt for the continued enjoyment of human rights and freedoms. In particular, a notable gap in understanding exists as to the implications for enforcement and redress mechanisms.
This session will discuss experiences in evolving policies and regulatory frameworks and offer perspectives on how better evidence would support a rights-oriented digital transformation.
