Yusuf Suryanto is Director of Transmission, Electricity and Aerospace at Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), where he leads strategic planning and policy coordination in the energy and infrastructure sectors. With over two decades of experience in energy planning and regulation, he previously served as Senior Planner and Coordinator for Electricity Affairs and as Head of the Subdirectorate of Electricity. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from Illinois State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Diponegoro University, Indonesia. His professional training spans geothermal project management, strategic risk management and green finance, including certifications from the University of Auckland, the Asian Development Bank and international development institutes.
