Economist graduated from the Military University “Nueva Granada,” with a specialization in Comprehensive Project Management from the same institution. His professional experience includes work in banking institutions, second-tier financial entities, brokerage firms, and the cooperative sector.
He joined the Confederation of Cooperatives of Colombia (Confecoop) in 2004 as Director of Economic Analysis, a role that has allowed him to deepen his study of the cooperative economic and social phenomenon in Colombia from various perspectives. He has authored several publications and articles on the performance of cooperatives in Colombia and has participated in various forums discussing issues that impact the development of cooperative enterprises and the solidarity economy in the country.
He currently serves as the Secretary General of Confecoop.
