Carlos Alberto is an Industrial Engineer and MBA with over 16 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, across industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and government. Throughout his career, he has led strategic and operational processes, bringing a comprehensive perspective to organizational development and financial management.
Over the past five years, he has served as a mentor to entrepreneurs, supporting business capacity building. Additionally, for the last two years, he has contributed to executive education as a lecturer in the “Organizational Environment: Analysis and Perspectives” module of the Executive MBA at Universidad de los Andes.
In 2023, he joined Invest in Bogotá as Administrative and Financial Manager, and in 2025, he was appointed Interim Executive Director, leading the organization’s strategy to attract investment and position Bogotá as a prime business destination.
