Description

Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui was appointed as Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation for the Kingdom of Morocco on 7 October 2021 by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Prior to his current position, Mr. Miraoui served as the President of Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech from 2011 to 2019. His illustrious career includes notable appointments such as membership in the Commission Specializing in Development Models, appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco in December 2019. He has also held positions of influence within the field of education and research, including membership in the Higher Council of Education, Training, and Scientific Research, presidency of the Permanent Commission on Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation, and participation in the Professional Training Working Group within the council. Moreover, he served as President of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie from 2013 to 2017. A distinguished scholar, Monsieur Abdellatif Miraoui has co-authored 4 books, supervised over 32 doctoral theses, and authored more than 300 scientific publications in internationally recognized journals. His expertise and dedication have made significant contributions to the advancement of higher education and scientific research, both nationally and internationally.
