Description
Alexandros Skouris is a PhD Fellow in Infection, Immunity and Inflammation at Rutgers University in the USA and a Member of Youthwise, OECD’s Youth Advisory Board. Prior to his current role, he worked in the Strategy Unit of the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) while pursuing his MSc in International Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Alexandros obtained his BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics in Greece, where he founded iGEM Thrace, a synthetic biology student research team. In addition, he coordinated European-wide science communication events funded by the Erasmus+ and the European Parliament. Lastly, Alexandros has been supported by scholarships at all stages of his academic journey and has been featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 2024 - Greece.
