Description
Sebastian Strauß received his PhD in educational research in 2021 for his dissertation on promoting the regulation of participation during online collaboration using different data-driven instructional approaches. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Educational Psychology and Technology Research Group at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), and associated researcher at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS, Bochum). He investigates the effects of different types of (adaptive) computer support on collaboration processes and the acquisition of knowledge about effective collaboration. This work includes exploring the roles that generative AI can play during collaboration and how it affects collaboration processes.
