Professor at the Computer Science and Cybernetics Department of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His research interests include: artificial intelligence, edtech, adaptive learning, Industry 4.0, standardized testing, upskilling/reskilling, enterprise systems and cybersecurity.
Professor Bologa is a distinguished expert in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and educational technologies, having led research projects that explore the integration of AI into educational technologies. His research focuses on areas such as AI-driven education, knowledge management for enterprise competitiveness, and intelligent systems designed to optimize business operations. Through his work, Professor Bologa has contributed significantly to advancing the role of AI in enhancing educational efficiency and innovation.
In addition to his research contributions, Professor Bologa serves as the Director of the Master's program in Enterprise Information Systems. In this capacity, he oversees the development of the program, ensuring that it provides students with cutting-edge knowledge in both AI and enterprise systems. Under his leadership, the program has gained a strong reputation for preparing graduates to lead in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
Prof. Bologa is actively involved with innovative start-ups with a focus on artificial intelligence in education and cybersecurity. He has started the largest educational robotics initiative for children in Southeastern Europe.
As president of CyberKnowledgeClub(CKC), an active NGO, prof. Bologa has been running initiatives in the area of education with AI since 2018. The projects of CKC have been dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged communities in order to get access to education with AI. Responsible use of artificial intelligence and sustainability represent a key focus of Prof. Bologa's research.
