Stéphie Herlin is Head of Product and Research at KORA, where she helped launch the first public benchmark assessing LLM safety for children, in collaboration with 15+ partners and institutions. The benchmark is used by Edtech organizations and leading AI labs to drive product improvements. Originally trained as an economist at the French Treasury, she later became a public school teacher and researcher, leading an early classroom experiment using ChatGPT to generate personalized textbooks. Her work focuses on designing and evaluating AI systems that support learning while protecting children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.
