Getting to the venue

Arriving in Istanbul: 

By Air: 
Recommended airport: Istanbul Airport (IST)  is the primary international gateway to Istanbul.  
Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) may also be used but is located on the Asian side of the city and requires longer transfer times.

Transportation from  Istanbul Airports (IST/SAW)  to the Venue: 
1. Taxi: 
Taxis and ride-hailing services are available from both airports.

All taxis operating under the Istanbul Airport Taxi Drivers Cooperative use taximeter fares regulated by UKOME.

 2. Airport Shuttle: 

Havaist airport shuttle services provide convenient connections between Istanbul Airport and central Istanbul, including Beşiktaş. Participants may disembark at the Beşiktaş Square stop, from which the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus is approximately a five-minute walk.

Registration 
Participants are requested to confirm their attendance by registering via the link available in this portal. 
Deadline for registration is 5 October 2025. 
 
Participation
Participation in the Roundtable is by invitation only and is subject to an invitation from the OECD and the Republic of Türkiye.

Badges  
Delegates may collect their badges at the venue upon arrival.

Please be advised that badges will be issued upon presentation of a valid personal identification: an identity card or passport and a copy of the email confirming your registration for the event.

Accessibility
The venue accommodates wheelchair access and people with reduced mobility.

Visa information

All delegates are kindly requested to check whether they require a visa to enter Türkiye. Please note that all participants are responsible for complying with the applicable immigration and customs requirements for entry into and departure from Türkiye, including any visa-related costs.

👉 Participants who require a visa are kindly requested to apply for an e-Visa through https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/apply/.

Participants travelling on ordinary passports are subject to the applicable visa requirements based on their nationality. Passports must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of entry into Türkiye.


Letter of Invitation
Registered participants will receive a formal letter of invitation, which may support visa applications if needed. Please note the OECD cannot intervene with consulates on individual cases.

Accommodation

Delegates are kindly advised that all travel and accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of each participant.

Istanbul offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit different budgets and preferences. In addition to the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus, where the Roundtable will take place, participants will find numerous international hotels, boutique properties and serviced apartments within easy reach of the venue, particularly in the districts of Beşiktaş, Kabataş, Taksim and Karaköy.
