The OECD AI Principles – impact on the global policy landscape

Since their adoption in 2019, governments and other stakeholders have been working to implement the OECD AI Principles to make artificial intelligence trustworthy for people and planet. More than three years after the adoption of the OECD AI Principles, this session is a timely occasion to highlight accomplishments and discuss future priorities. The panel will highlight how countries are implementing policies for trustworthy, human-centric AI and what the OECD is doing to support them. It will seek to highlight good AI policy practices on topics like AI risk and accountability, regulatory sandboxes, language technologies and compute and climate.
