Daniel Roash is the Director of the Economic Indicators Section in the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics and a PHD student for Labor Economics.
Daniel’s PHD dissertation deals with the casual effect between firm's digital intensity and their resilience during the first lockdown in 2020.
Daniel was in charge of the special surveys on the business situation during the COVID-19 crisis. These surveys examined businesses responses to the government restrictions during the crisis such as: job flows, innovation, investments and more.
Daniel has also managed the ICT survey (2020) that was conducted for the first time in Israel and enabled the policymakers to evaluate Israel's digital intensity in comparison with other OECD countries. In the last months, Daniel and the OECD team cooperate and translated the "OECD Going Digital Toolkit" to Hebrew in order to disseminate the digital dimensions for Israel in comparison with OECD countries.
