President Jung Han Keun was appointed as the President of the Korea Communications Agency in March 2020. As the head of the Korea Communications Agency, President Jung is responsible for developing the domestic radio wave environment through radio wave quality and frequency management, and for promoting ICT such as ICT fund management and K-contents support. President Jung joined the public office and has gained a wide range of experience and expertise. In 2013-2015, he served as Director General for Broadcasting Promotion, Director General for Internet, Director General for Information Security of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. Jung also served as the head of the Busan Regional Post Office of the Korea Post in 2015-2017. Jung served as the spokesperson for the Ministry of Science and ICT in 2017-2018, and led the Office of IP Strategy and Planning of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property in 2018-2020. He graduated from Seoul National University with a Bachelor’s degree in political science in 1987.
