Description
Born in 1975 in Egypt, graduated from the Military Technical College (MTC), Computer Department and joined the MTC teaching staff till retirement from the Egyptian Army as Lt. Colonel in 2012. Earned Master in Computer Engineering, and PhD studies in the MTC.
Joined the Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in 2012 in the President office responsible for Strategies and Projects then the CEO for the Academy Company for ICT (ACICT); Incorporation owned by AATSMT.
With over than 15 years in business, in 1998 joined the American University in Cairo for Business Administration Diploma, Started the business journey in 1999 after joining Siemens Egypt for 6 years, leaving Siemens as a Senior Business Consultant and a long track of SaaS & ASP & Government Projects and eLearning Mega Projects in the Middle East. Worked with Intel, IBM, Microsoft, Fujitsu, and Oracle in several initiatives and Projects specially the eGOV projects in Egypt.
Got specialized in Business development along with a deep technical knowledge and expertise’s in Cloud Computing, eLearning and educational Technologies, Research Management and Innovation Management.
Member in The Open Data Center Alliance, OCDA. Worked with several companies internationally specialized in cloud computing from business perspective (Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Rackspace, Eucalyptus, Right Scale, VMware, Citrix, Google, Openstack, etc.…), Member of the National Committee for Egypt Government Cloud, laying down the standards for cloud computing for the Egyptian government since 2014.
