Description
Jaëla Arian works as program manager Food Strategy at the City of Amsterdam. An integral program that strives to make a transition of our current food system to contribute to a system where our citizens have access to healthy, fair, affordable and sustainable food. The program is based within the Circular Economy team, and we work with different departments within our municipality, bringing colleagues together that work on different aspects of food ranging from sustainability to economics. Jaëla has worked at the city of Amsterdam for various projects within the sustainability department. She has studied biology, specialized on conservation and systems ecology and urban green at Wageningen University & Research.
