Description
Esther Souzan is a policy officer at the French Ministry of the Environment. She's in charge of the implementation by water agencies of public Payments for Environmental Services in agriculture and contributes to developing a new scheme of biodiversity certificates, supported by the European Commission, which aims to foster private investment in biodiversity restoration. She holds a master's degree in Geosciences and Public Policy from the École Normale Supérieure (Paris), with previous experiences in the biogeochemistry research field at Cambridge University and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, engaging international stakeholders towards a more sustainable future.
