Description

Isabella Neuweg is a climate policy and green finance specialist with over 15 years of international experience driving investment in sustainable and climate-resilient growth. She currently leads the OECD’s review on financing approaches for climate-resilient agriculture, helping countries unlock finance and innovation to strengthen their food and land-use systems. Her work focuses on transforming financial and policy frameworks across the Eastern European Neighbourhood, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, building on earlier projects in China, India, and OECD countries. Isabella works closely with governments, central banks, and multilateral institutions to align investment environments with global climate and development goals. Previously, she served as Special Advisor to Professor Nicholas Stern at the Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science and led major climate and energy policy evaluations for the UK government and the European Commission. She holds an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science from Free University Berlin.
