Description
Since 2019, Edward Calthrop has been Head of the Climate Policy Unit in the Projects Directorate of the European Investment Bank. He is currently acting Head of the Environment, Climate and Social Office.
He has over 18 years of experience in the Bank, having worked as a project economist within the energy and mobility teams. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked in a range of academic, consulting and industry roles. He has a doctorate in economics from the Catholic University of Leuven, followed by post-doctoral studies at Oxford University.
