Description
Ioannis Tikoudis is an OECD Economist specialising in evidence-based policy analysis with the use of economic modelling and econometric methods. He joined the OECD in 2015 and is part of the Climate Change Mitigation team since 2024. Ioannis has led various OECD studies on the thematic areas of climate change, transport, land-use, housing and energy. He co-authored several OECD reports, including the "Global Drought Outlook" (2025), "How Green is Household Behaviour? Sustainable Choices in a Time of Interlocking Crises" (2023), "Decarbonising Urban Mobility with Land Use and Transport Instruments" (2020) and "Rethinking Urban Sprawl: Moving Towards Sustainable Cities" (2018). His research has also been featured in scientific outlets such as the Journal of Urban Economics, The Scandinavian Journal of Economics and the Journal of Economic Geography. Prior to joining the OECD, Ioannis held research positions in Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Ioannis is going to present the main findings from the OECD’s new report, “Paris Agreement at Years: Expert Views on Progress and Challenges for Climate Change Mitigation”.
