Deputy Minister Boitumelo Moloi, MP made her mark as a diligent servant who demonstrates the commitment to enhance employment creation for the people of South Africa, and most importantly, the disenfranchised communities. For ten years, she served as the Executive Mayor of the then Southern District Municipality which was later, under her leadership, renamed after the former President of Zambia, HE President Kenneth Kaunda. She concurrently served as a National Executive Member of the South African Local Government Association (SALGA), as chairperson responsible for the ‘Infrastructure Working Group’. She also served as a member of the ‘Presidential Coordinating Commission’ MANCO on behalf of SALGA and ‘The Social Development Working Group’.
