Description

Zootechnician from the University of Antioquia, with courses in accounting, who has dedicated his entire life to underground mining work. He started as an elevator in the El Bloque mine and was later appointed Legal Representative. He currently manages Sociedad Minera El Bloque S.A.S., which signed an operating contract with Aris Mining in 2017, moving from ancestral activities to formalized mining and benefiting more than 40 employees with social benefits and good mining practices. In 2025, based on the internal actions it implements for the conservation of the fauna and flora surrounding its operation, it led the linking of this mine to the Regenerative Mining program, with which Aris Mining and Corantioquia, through a pioneering agreement in the country, promote sustainable and responsible mining in favor of the preservation of natural resources.
