Description
Edson Krenak, a member of the Krenak people from Vanuire village in Brazil, is a doctoral candidate in Legal Anthropology at the University of Vienna, Austria. He serves as the Brazil Program Lead at Cultural Survival, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to Indigenous rights, and sits on the Executive Committee of the SIRGE Coalition.
An accomplished writer, Edson is a recipient of Brazil’s National Tamoios Award, and his works have been featured in UNICEF’s recommended reading list. His expertise spans Indigenous rights, international policy analysis, community engagement, and transition mineral governance (ESG+I).
