Description

MickaĆ«l Daudin is an expert in due diligence for mineral supply chains in conflict-affected and high-risk areas as well as in risk assessment and mitigation. He has ten years’ experience in the extractive sector including small and large-scale mining, with a focus on security and human rights. MickaĆ«l leads the International Tin Supply Chain Initiative (ITSCI), a traceability and due diligence programme supporting companies sourcing and trading tin, tantalum and tungsten minerals from the African Great Lakes Region. As Manager of the ITS Programme, MickaĆ«l leads the overall implementation, monitoring, reporting of the ITSCI Programme, including engagement with partners and external stakeholders and the further development and improvement of the Programme. In his previous role, MickaĆ«l also managed various projects on responsible mining and sourcing of minerals in Central Africa, engaged with the Voluntary Principles Initiative on Security and Human Rights and with the Global Battery Alliance where he served as Board Member.
