Description
Gerard Nayuburundi is the Regional Coordinator of the Natural Resources Unit at the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), where he leads the technical team of the ICGLR Secretariat in providing technical and advisory support to ICGLR Member States in the implementation of the Regional Initiative on Natural Resources and in monitoring the implementation of the Initiative. He has a proven track record of working in both the public and private sectors. Mr Nayuburundi is skilled in project design, planning and management with over ten years of experience in managing mineral governance projects. He holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Land Resources from the University of Ghent, majoring in Soil Science and specialising in Land Evaluation and Management.
