Description
Alison is Director of the Climate Action Team in the UN Secretary General’s office. Prior to that she was the UK’s lead climate negotiator covering the UNFCCC, G7 and G20, and acted as co-chair of the Global Stocktake negotiations at COP 27 and 28.
During her 15 years in the UK government she also held senior positions in the UK’s COP 26 unit as deputy lead negotiator and deputy COP envoy, and has held a number of other international facing roles in the UK’s Department for International Development, Cabinet Office, and Department for Environment. She was a member of the EU negotiating team for the Paris Agreement.
