My name is Nicolás Sebastián Chain, a graduate in Tourism with experience in the public, private, and academic sectors. I am also a licensed Tour Guide for the city of Tandil (Buenos Aires, Argentina), as well as a Technical Tour Designer and Coach.
In the public sector, for the past five years, I have led the technical coordination team of the Mercociudades Tourism Institute (ITM), a regional joint entity whose purpose is to promote public-private partnerships in South America, strengthening borderless tourism, sustainability, and regional tourist routes. I have led the organization of in-person and virtual workshops on public-private-academic cooperation in the regional tourism sector. I also work in the public sector at the Secretariat of Productive Development and International Relations of the Municipality of Tandil, where I am a member of the local Tourism Directorate.
In the private sector, I have worked in the tourism sector in hotels, cabins, travel and tourism companies, and tourist resorts.
Regarding the academic field, I work as a professor in the Tourism program at UNICEN and have participated in research activities in the area of Accessibility.
