Description
With over 30 years of experience, the Humboldt Institute generates scientific knowledge and applied tools that strengthen public and private decision-making, positioning biodiversity as a key driver of development. The Institute also hosts one of the Subregional Technical and Scientific Support Centres of the Convention on Biological Diversity for Latin America and the Caribbean, fostering cooperation and providing assistance to governments in 12 countries across the region.
