She completed her undergraduate studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law, as well as a Master’s degree in International Business and Economic Relations from the same institution. She also holds a Master’s degree in Administrative and Labor Law from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA), Santiago campus. She has participated as an international speaker on topics such as women's participation, lactation rooms in workplaces, and the prevention of child labor, in cities including Mexico City, New York, Cairo, San José (Costa Rica), as part of the Regional Initiative for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic, among others. She served as a labor and social security advisor to various national companies for 15 years, and as a legal advisor in inter-union discussions for the reform of the Labor Code, representing the Autonomous Classist Trade Union Confederation (CASC) (2017–2018). She was the technical delegate representing workers from the Dominican Republic at the United Nations (UN) during the 2017 International Labour Organization (ILO) Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. She is Vice President of the Fundación Unidos por Salcedo (FUNS), where she has been involved in providing social and solidarity services for over 10 years. Since 2020, she has served as Vice Minister for Vulnerable Sectors and Child Labor at the Ministry of Labor. She also holds the position of Executive Secretary of the National Steering Committee for the Fight Against Child Labor in the Dominican Republic. From this position, she has led the development of programs such as the Certification of Child Labor-Free Companies in the Dominican Republic (ELTI-RD), labor insertion programs for survivors of sexual exploitation and other vulnerable groups, and the development of the DAR-CE methodology to raise awareness among the most vulnerable populations regarding the prevention and eradication of child labor, among others.
