Since January 2024, she has served as the Director of the Bogotá Office of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). She has led key institutions for rural development in Colombia, including serving as President of Finagro and Director of Rural Development at the National Planning Department, where she acted as Technical Secretary of the Mission for the Transformation of the Countryside— a milestone in redefining rural policy in Colombia.
She has directed three research centers with national and regional impact: the Latin American Center for Rural Development (Rimisp) in Colombia, the Agrifood System Research Centre (CentroISA) at Universidad de los Andes, and the Sustainable Development Goals Center (CODS) for Latin America and the Caribbean.
