Jul 8, 2025 | 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Puerta de Oro - Deep dive room 3

Description

The event is sponsored by the Región Administrativa y de Planificación Caribe (RAP Caribe), which serves as the coordinating entity for strategic and sustainable territorial planning governance in northern Colombia. This is a region facing significant inequality challenges and, due to its geographic conditions, requires joint actions, cooperation, and synergies to ensure that local economic development fosters a green economy, improves community well-being indicators, and strengthens territorial competitiveness. The event is part of the Caribe Vivo Biodiverso strategy, a regional commitment signed within the framework of COP16 for the protection and preservation of its strategic ecosystems. It brings together the region’s stakeholders in a working space to outline concrete actions that will lead to the design of public policy projects with regional scope, across three specific areas: 1. Blue Economy 2. Preservation of Strategic Ecosystems 3. Nature-Based Tourism
