Description
“IUB al Barrio” is a joint initiative of the Barranquilla Mayor’s Office, the Barranquilla University Institution (IUB), and the national government. It aims to expand access to free, high-quality higher education for graduates of public schools in the city.
The program brings academic offerings directly to local neighborhoods by using the facilities of 15 public schools as university campuses, making it easier for students to continue their education without having to travel far from their communities.
