Director
David Meinke is the director of The Center of Regional Development in The Capital Region of Denmark. The center has several regional responsibilities, i.e., protecting the region’s groundwater, regional bus- and train lines, coordination of youth education initiatives and regional climate initiatives. Mr. Meinke is among other things board member of the Danish Life Science Cluster and steering group member of the Northern European collaboration STRING. He chairs the steering group of the East Danish EU Office and holds the steering group chair in the Greater Copenhagen Collaboration.
He has played a key role in initiating and developing Greater Copenhagen and its defining policy papers. David Meinke graduated from Roskilde University with a degree in Public Administration.
