Mrs. Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh serves as the mayor of Malmö since 2013. She is the first vice-president of ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) and chairs the Procura+ initiative on public procurement within the council.
She is a board member of Greater Copenhagen and board member of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions. Furthermore, she serves as a board member of the Social Democratic Party in Sweden. As a senior voice in Swedish politics, she has, among other things, been dubbed Sweden''s most influential local politician by Dagens Samhälle.
