Heino Knudsen has been a politician since 2013 and Chairman of the Regional Council of Region Zealand since January 2018. Mr. Knudsen has represented the Social Democratic Party in the City Council of Lolland from 2013-2017 as chairman of the cultural committee and in the Regional Council of Region Zealand since January 2018 as chairman of the Regional Council.
Mr. Knudsen was born in 1979 on the island of Lolland, where he has lived his whole life. He is educated in the fields of trade and management, and has worked as a marketing consultant in the training educational institution CELF.
Mr. Knudsen has held the following memberships with Danish Regions:
Member of the Danish Regions board since 2018
Chairman of the committee of Wage and Practitioners since 2022
Chairman of the Wage and Tariff Board since 2022
Chairman of the committee environment and Resources 2018-2021
