Airport 
The closest airport to Fairmont Château Laurier is Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier Airport (YOW). 

Driving directions from the Ottawa International Airport:
  • Follow the Airport Parkway which becomes Bronson Avenue. 
  • Turn right onto Colonel By Drive at the Rideau Canal. 
  • Follow Colonel By Drive to Rideau Street. 
  • Turn left onto Rideau Street. 
  • Fairmont Château Laurier is immediately on the right. 
 
Parking 
Valet parking is available for overnight guests only. 
Daily Rate: $60 CAD*, including tax, with in/out privileges. 

Self-parking for restaurant and day guests is available within a short distance from the hotel.

The Ottawa Via Rail Station is located three miles (6 km) from the hotel.

Registration, Participation and Badges

Registration 
Participants are requested to confirm their attendance by registering via the link available in this portal. 
Deadline for registration is 10 September 2024. 

 Participants who need to obtain a temporary resident visa or an Electronic Travel Authorisation prior to entering Canada are advised to register no later than 20 July 2024.  A personalised confirmation of registration letter mandatory for visa application purposes will be provided upon validation of your registration. 
 
Participation
Participation at the Roundtable is subject to an invitation from the OECD and the Department of Justice of Canada. 

Badges  
Delegates may collect their badges at the Fairmont Château Laurier between October 7 and 8 at the registration desk of the Renaissance Room and between October 9 and 10 at the registration desk of the Adam Room. 
Please be advised that badges will be issued upon presentation of a valid personal identification, preferably a passport or ID card.  

Visa information

If you require a visa or Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) to enter Canada, please register for this event by 20 July 2024. 

This will help to ensure that your visa can be processed in time for you to attend the event. Once your registration has been verified, you will receive a personalised confirmation letter. This letter will be required for your visa application.

Accommodation

Please note that participants bear the costs for accommodation and are requested to make their own booking arrangements.

Room Rate: $ 281.00 CDN plus taxes, (13% Harmonised Sales Tax (HST), 5% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) and 13% HST on MAT). The above rates reflect the European Plan (EP) (accommodation only, no meals). 

Reservations must be made by 12:00pm EST on 6 September 2024 to qualify for your group rate. 
Group room rate available three (3) days pre and post event dates, based on hotel availability.
