Description

Cornelia Schenk has worked in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, policies and financing for 15 years, primarily focusing on technical cooperation with emerging markets and developing economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia and Small Island Developing States. She is leading the work on energy efficiency financing and co-leading on transmission grid financing across partner countries within the OECD's CEFIM Programme. Prior to joining the OECD, she was leading the energy efficiency finance and investment analysis and the energy efficiency work programme with India at the IEA's Energy Efficiency for Emerging Economies Programme, and worked as a Sustainable Energy Specialist at the Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency and the Austrian Development Agency. She has a background in environmental technology and international affairs (MSc), as well as in international law (Mag.iur) and clean energy finance.
