Description

Co-Director of the University of Lausanne Graduate Campus, Verity Elston holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Chicago in addition to certificates in adult training, career orientation, coaching and leadership. She has been engaged in support for doctoral candidates and postdoc researchers since 2007, both directly through individual counselling and training workshops, and through research into careers of doctorate holders. She represented Switzerland in the OECD's STI expert group reports on precarity in academic careers and career options for doctorate holders, and was chair of the expert group of the latter.
